- Eddie (Zany) Harnett - lead guitarist and
songwriter - was born in Southhampton, England in the late forties. He
sang the opening song Aquarius in the British and European version of Hair
The Musical and wrote Got To Get Away, one of Heaven's top
songs with CBS Records. Eddies band Heaven was one of the opening bands along with Moody
Blues, Chicago, The Doors, Free, The Who, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, Sly & The
Family Stones, and many others at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival
(600 thousand-plus spectator British version of WoodStock). In March of 2005 Got
To Get Away and the album Heaven
Brass Rock with CBS Records was re-released in Britain and Europe.
